Do you think she's into me or that we're becoming good friends?

A male United States age 36-40, anonymous writes:

Theres this girl at work that I really like. So, over the past few months, I've been flirting with her and recently we've started hanging out outside of work.

However, we don't conventionally hang out. Like we go for runs and do that kind of stuff together. That makes it seem like she's a friend, but when I told her that she can go with one of our mutual friends she said no, she wants to go with me.

Then, last week she said she'll go with me to this thing that she's already been to, but I haven't. So she's going to go just for me because i can't find anyone to go with.

Also, we've started texting a lot, not everyday but most days i can expect a text from her, or Ill text her. Further, her friends at work are all giving me a weird look, and one of them even said we were cute and asked me if I'm single.

This is it however, the negative side is, theres no real relationship outside of this. We don't really hug(except twice when I did something for her), no kissing etc. And it seems like if she liked me she would put more of an effort into spending time with me both at work and outside.

I do have high hopes for next week though, we're going to chill for the first time in a setting outside of physical activity. So, do you think she's into me or am I now a good friend? As well, should I treat next week like a date or just a hang out?

In your case i feel that your dangerously close or already past the line of bieng seen as a friend.

Now you need to make a call of judgement. Do you accept that your in the friend zone. or do you pull the trigger and make a move. both have positives and both have negatives
