writes:I can't figure out if this guy likes me or not. It is long distance but he used to call me all of the time. We have only hung out like five times in the last four months. He had me meet his family and once he was texting me and said that I love you. Then I went to see him and we wasn't home. I tried to call him once but he wasn't there. That was a week ago and he hasn't called or text me since. He usually will text me at least twice a week. I don't know if he is avoiding me or just busy. Why would he just stop talking to me like that? Do you think he's met some other girl and doesn't want to tell me? The last time I saw him was when I met his family. When I left he was acting like he didn't want me to leave, and wanted me to come see him again. I am just so confused on why he just stopped talking to me.

reader, anonymous, writes (11 April 2009): I think he is playing you. Something is definitely up and you should not waste anymore time on him. There is a chance he has someone else already, but maybe he doesn't want you to know. Just leave things as it is, and as hard as it is, don't be in contact with him. If he starts calling again, it is your choice whether you want to pick up. What I think is that you should move on and to take some time for yourself. Another guy will come, but he is not worth your time if you cannot reach him or he is not responding to you. He should have said something, but doesn't have the courage to. Don't look back and forget about him. You deserve better than that. To finish off, if a guy likes you he will find time to talk to you, even when he is busy. This guy is not making the effort, or even explaining himself to you. During the whole time, he could have responded to you to let you kno what is up.
