A male reader, Oldybutgoody United Kingdom +, writes (29 September 2008):

The short answer is no. My lady had three broken marriages and several other equally unsuccessful relationships in the past 30 years. We kissed only about two hours into our first date, and we're both the wrong side of fifty. However, although for me it was great but not spectacular, she has often told me that it was a revelation to her and that she had never been kissed so passionately in her whole life. In fact, it brought us together very quickly and I enjoy an equal feeling of deep passion whenever we kiss, and she tells me that she has finally found real love with me. This indicates that your question is more about your orientation than any difference in feelings. So, follow your instincts.

maybe you feel more for women-that burst of excitement. maybe you should follow your instinct
