writes:Do men talk to their friends about women they like or are interested in? I was seeing this guy for a little bit a few months ago and we just kind of started talking again. After going out, he took me to his place since he had just moved and wanted me to see it. His roommate/buddy was there and when he asked how me and the guy knew each other he said through a mutual friend. Then his roommate said something like "ooohh that's her?" and then he turned to me and said "he talks about you". i looked over at the guy i went out with expecting him to say something but he was just looking down and smiling sheepishly.So, are men more likely to tell their friends about women they like or have a thing for? Or is it kind of something that men talk about in general and really doesn't mean anything and he was just embarassed? Does it seem like this guy likes me?

Depends on the guy - I have found that more immature guys feel the need to brag to their friends. Others may tell just a very close friend, to be honest I fall into that category. More, if they are still with the girl and like her, will not talk at all. It sounds like he likes you but the easiest way to do it would be to ask him - in as casual a way as you can manage

 No. Generally speaking men do not talk to other men about specifics of girls that they are serious about. If he is talking about you in that way to his mates then he is not seeing you as a potential long term lover.
