 Personally, I wouldn't date a girl unless I could feel both romance and lust with her. I can love a girl, respect her, and act like a gentleman toward her, then still want to tie her hands to the bedpost and do "dirty" things. I prefer the word "fun," but you get the idea. I can get hard for soft, extended lovemaking just as easily as for a quick blowjob in the laundry room. Why limit myself to just one?
Some guys can only think of a girl in one way or another, but most are healthy enough to think both about their girlfriends.
If you're having a hard time thinking dirty thoughts about someone you love, try having a night where you tell him ahead of time that you want it dirty that night. Tell him exactly what you want, tell him not to hold back, and then try to get into it. Seeing him cut loose and letting yourself get caught up in the moment might help. Come up with a "safe word" first, though.
