writes:Hey..this is a silly question really...Basicly about a week before my period is due until it comes on I feel REALLy depressed...Suicidal even sometimes..It gets so bad that I cant even go and and cant stop crying...I know its only hormones..But it really effects me..Does anybody else get this? is there anything i can do/take that would help this? Thank alot xxxxxx

I would go to the doctors for it they can give you something to sort you out probably the pill.

reader, anonymous, writes (22 December 2007): your lucky its only a week,i get a 10 day build up im almost 48 and my periods have blighted my whole life, i get the most terrible build up of water retention, depression, sickness, you name it. I have only just found a cure. try citalopram off the doctors. just take one when you feel bad and it will work. i promise you. dont let it drag on, do something about it now.

If it's to the point where you are feeling suicidal then i think that you have some hormone imbalance and you need to talk to a doctor. I'm pretty sure that the pill can help with things like this, they control all of your hormones. Plus that it has tons of other benefits and i would recommend it no matter what.
