My girlfriend thinks she may be pregnant. She is 11 days late. But she SAYS the last time seh had sex was 2 months ago. Is it possible that she has been pregnant for two months and is just missing her period now?

p.s. only been with her one week and haven't slept with her yet

PS: Don't worry about confidentiality.. I think that as long as she is above 12, they will keep her secrets and do not have to tell her parents. If she is worried, then all she needs to do is to give her name, and refuse to give anything else. Explain to them she is frightened and they will give all the help they can. They understand, they have many kids who have problems just like her...

It is possible - I have a dear friend who continued to think she was having her period for a couple of months after she got pregnant. As it turned out it was bleeding caused by a tilted uterus. She carried the pregnancy to term and both mother and child were fine, but your girlfriend should definitely get into a doctor's office to find out for sure if she's pregnant and if so what's causing the bleeding

It's possible babes. Even though a period are an indication that your NOT pregnant, some women do get pregnant, even though they still have their period... Anything could be happening, we are not doctors, she needs to go to the doctor to check and get better advice than we can give here...

You've hidden your age, so I will assume that you and your girlfriend are not yet 16 and are therefore underage and too young to be having sex. No problem, her health and your welfare come first. The doctors will understand and will help you and her all they can...

The NHS in the UK run a 24/7 telephone advice service. http://www.nhsdirect.nhs.uk. You can contact them on 0845 4647 if you need emergency advice on contraception and pregnancy. Don't be afraid, call them, they are there to help. They have special services for teenagers in the UK and are able to provide advice and support.
