How long ago did you have your period?
Usually things like cravings don't start until later. Early on you just crave things that have the nutrients your body needs. I'm a vegetarian, so I started craving protein real bad.
Take an at home test. If its positive or if your next period is weird or nonexistent, then go see your doctor. They can do more comprehensive testing.

reader, anonymous, writes (8 May 2009): there can be bleeding durong pregnancy that a lot of people mistake for their periods. Just take a test. Sounds like you have the symptoms.
