If the blood is copious and there are clots, it's a period, therefore you are not pregnant. If you were, heavy bleeding would be bad news, anyway.
Are you trying to get prenant? If you are, you might have to try for a bit longer!
If you do not want to get pregnant, playing russian roulette with it is a very bad idea. If you have a close and loving relationship, look up the Billings Method for natural contraception. It involves you both abstaining from sex during the 9day period of ovulation. Most couples who practice this become closer, because it involves respect and patience. You can make love without intercourse during your ovulation period and both of you knowing that you are ovulating makes you more aware and appreciative of womanhood!
If you are in a new relationship and still want to have sex, always get him to wear a condom to protect each other from any STDs!
God bless and good luck.
