writes:I had a good friend or so i thought at work i really cared for him and helped him so much with work, money a hell of a lot then i noticed the lies black lies not just fibs then i found out he was badmouthing me to colleagues and management i did everything i could for him so why this ?Anyway luckily others saw him for what he really was and he lied to them too but has tripped himself up loads noone likes him now even management think hes dodgy yet hes getting away with a lot why did he change ?

No one likes to be ostracized. His behaviour alienated him so now he's trying to rebuild alliances. Being an asshole got him shunned so he hopes being 'nice' will get him unshunned.
