from what you have said it sounds like you are leaning more toward your ex and your friend is just a back up if you and your ex dont get back together, like your scared of being alone so having two guys after you at the same time is making you feel more secure if one or the other doesn't work out, you know? im not trying to sound critical by the way, ive just been in a similar situation and know how your feeling. i think you should think about who you could see yourself having a happy future with, and concentrate on him, ask the guy you decide on or even both out right if they want a relationship with you and if they don't give a strait answer forget it, move on, find someone better. good luck i hope you find the one for you :)
