 Wait, I got my answer backwards - I meant to say that if he CARES about scars or birthmarks or whatever, then he obviously cares more about physical appearance rather than natural, inner beauty. Sorry. I'm sure you knew what I meant, lol!

CaringGuy's got it right - that should be a warning sign right away if you're with the right man or not. If he doesn't care for scars or birthmarks or burns or whatever is on your skin, then he obviously cares more about physical features than your inner beauty and getting to know you.
I know a woman back home. Her husband was in a terrible home fire and has burns and discoloration all over his face, but they have been married, I think, over 30 years and still very much love each other.
BTW, I have an ugly scar on my hand I got on prom night (you REALLY don't want to know!!)

Yes guys can, it doesn't matter what a girls have on them, if they like you then they will, I mean if he doesn't like you because you have scars on your body, then it's not a guy who really like you for who you are and stuff, he only like you on how you look so yeah, but guys can fall in love with girls who have scar on there bodies... doesn't matter at all.

 My ex had a big scar down her stomach, when she was young the doctors fucked up taking her appendix out, it's pretty bad, she was mega self concious about it! to tell the truth, I noticed it, but thought she was the most beautiful girl id ever met, her scar was even beautiful, but I have alot of friends who are shallow enough, that it would be a big minus against her! I guess it's all on if your shallow enough to give a fuck!

reader, anonymous, writes (16 January 2010): i'm a girl, but i went through about the same thing with my guy. yes, men can fall in love with a scarred girl. i was a suicide and a lot of the scars i got from that, i was certain would scare him away. i've also got other scars from pets, insects, car wrecks, burns.... even my little brother's teeth left scars in my arm. i was really worried that my guy would take one look at me, laugh, and leave. he surprised me. a guy can stay quite easily with a damaged girl if he loves her. in the end, it's not how we look that matters the most to them. it's the love that exists between the two people. sorry if that didn't help too much, but that's how it went for me.
