You have to use some form of birth controll and using a condom will always be advisable if not just to minimise the risk of pregnancy, also th risks of STD'S and AIDS.

The withdrawal method carries a very high likelihood of pregnancy. First of all there is some semen produced before ejaculation, certainly enough to become pregnant by (it only takes one motivated sperm) and secondly guys often ejaculate (cum) prematurely (and without control), but they will not always admit this and so will remain inside, they may even (especially if young) be able to ejaculate a second time giving the impression they have not done so inside.
These risks of pregnancy are much higher for young people (under 35) as their fertility is much higher than older people. The younger you are, the higher your fertility.
