 If you like a boy, don't be afraid to let him know: Make eye contact, smile back at him and be friendly.
If he doesn't pick up on your interest, be blunt and tell him you like him.
Just invite your parents openly in advance to the beach with your friends.

Haha yeah just watch the way he acts around you that's all if a guys interested he'll be giving you attention. some guys will get in close as friends at first but others will be up front fairly fast as for your trip uh if parents will be there it may cost some cash don't lie to your parents though be very honest. you'll find in life if you are honest and trustable they will be very open to your voice of question etc
