I had sex for the first time almost 4 weeks ago and i was supposed to get my period 4 days ago but it hasn't come yet. my period is usually irregular, but i'm worried. we used a condom and we stopped after he came. i feel like my boobs have been hurting just a little bit off and on and my weight's been fluctuating. could this be happening because it was my first time?

Your probably fine. Your body show's the signs you just described before your period begins. However since you are now sexually active you do need to start going to the doctor for a yearly exam, they'll know what your talking about. Have fun :)

Honeypie agony auntFor your age - weight fluctuation is normal (as long as it is not huge differences). The sore boobs, can be hormonal. Since it's been 4 weeks a pregnancy test can show you with pretty good accuracy if you are indeed pregnant.

Better safe then sorry. Also, continue to use condoms when having sex and consider getting on a birth control pill as well.

dirtball agony auntIt could be happening because your period is on the way.

Usually losing your virginity doesn't carry any kind of symptoms with it unless you get pregnant. Sometimes there is a prolonged bleeding, but usually that's about it.

I'd bet your period is on the way, but you may want to take a pregnancy test just to be sure.
