 There is no single universal "formulae" for techiques that max out your sexual pleasures. Not only would that be boring, but that would also make this site, or Playboy type magazines, they all would be redundant wouldn they? LOL
Each person and each couple have their own favorite positions, as each position provides different "sensations" to your body. Some positions also offer better probability for conceiving simply by rule of gravity.
So, your first time together may or may not be as you had always imagined it, but you can always educate yourselves more on it from books or instructional/educational links such as (Google karma sutra positions, and you may find)
