He's just so nice and cute, and i never get bored around him. Him (NM i'll call him) and i are going on a trip to berlin in a couple of weeks with a few others in our german class and i was thinking of trying to get my friends to find out if he likes me or not before then, and if he did i was gonna ask him out. But what if he doesnt like me? i thought. Then Berlin - the hightlight of my year- will be depressing and it may even affect my relationship with him, so i was thinking of finding out after the christmas holidays. But i really want to know now, cos berlin would be so much better if i knew he did, or even if we were going out! So basically, i was wondering if there are any obvious ways in which i can tell if he likes me. - I do catch him looking at me at lunch sometimes, and when we see each other at school, even if we're passing and going opposite ways he would say 'Hi Charlotte' and he doesnt even need to... but they're not much of a give-away, so please can i have some advice off you brilliant people!!!!Please and Thank You!!RedStars - Charlottexxxxxx

 Sounds like he likes you. Because you are both so young, some of the best long term relationships start off as childhood sweethearts. Just enjoy what you have, he may not be ready for taking it a step further and if you try to before that you may scare him away. If you look after the friendship you have at the moment you will have lots of fun in Berlin and lots of memories to look back on. Plus you can find out so much more about a person through friendly chat. Good luck. hope this helps.
