If you're anally raped, yes they will tear, if the penetration is ROUGH, yes they can do harm. If they are careful and gentle you should be safe. Anal sex 2 to 3 times a month should be FINE...

 I'm going to be blunt here, but no matter how pleasurable anal sex can be for some people - things are just not meant to be inserted up that orifice of your body, preferable never. Biologically, it doesn't make sense to do it.It is true that if you do it too often then you can damage the anus. Have you heard of rectal (or anal) prolapses? Having anal sex (or rather, receiving anal sex) can be a cause for rectal prolapses, where the rectal wall literally protrudes through the anus.Also, unlike the vagina, the anus doesn't exactly go back to "normal size" after sex (at least after a while), so if you have anal sex often enough then it can stretch you out. However, I'm not 100 per cent anti anal sex. I've tried it. But just don't do it too often.
