hello. i have a question and im sorry it is too long, i may only be 16 but i have been with my boyfriend now for 8 years. silly i know but we fell in love at 7 years old. on my 14th birthday i lost my virginity to him as i really did love him a LOT!!!! he is the nicest thing ever and he is soo sweet he never forcesme to do anything i dont want to and he buys me flowers (how romantic is he) he always takes me out to places too. well it is our anniversary on monday. and i was wondering if anyone had any ideas of super suprises for him. he is always treating me and doing nice things for me and i was hoping to give him something in return. he is 17 does anyone know what guys like. i have knows him forever but i dont know what he would really enjoy as a one off. do you think something romantic candle lit and then passionate sex (lol) or something going out for dinner or something like that. maybe go in a hotel?? anyone got advice. id really appreciate it.. thanx xx

That is such a sweet story :)

I think you suggested some great things yourself. And you know him best so you'll know what he'll like the most. Do you think he would like a romantic candle lit dinner and / or staying in a hotel? That does sounds nice to me. I would also say it's sometimes the little things that count more. This one time I stayed in a great hotel but the thing I remember the most and was more special is how we went for a little walk hand-in-hand that evening. Make sure you shop around on the net if you're going for a hotel room, you can get some good deals off the normal hotel price. You might need to get someone else to reserve it on a debit or credit card and it's better to do it as soon as possible.

I found it really hard to know what to do when it was mine and my boyfriends 2 years so the pressure must be intense for you being together for such a long time! I am of a similar age to you and i personally found that financially it was difficult to do too much. I would suggest a gift that is personal to you both, pherhaps a book in which you write down important memories for you both and continue to do so in the future, little handmade vouchers with treats that you are going to give him every month for the year and cookies with a little message on each. I think handmade cards are most personal and i also made him a cd with all our favourite songs on. For a date pherhaps a romanitc picnic, with candles and a romanitc walk afterwards? Hope these suggestions are helpful! Good luck x

PoSiOnKiSS agony auntnot much you can do at 16 years old, im guessing you dont have much money so a hotel is out of the question, and why you would want to splash out on so much when ur so young. but theres only a few things you can do, and guys dont really like to be fussed over, ive found that out the hard way. just take him out to dinner, an italian would do fine and give him a small present like some aftershave or if you really want it to be special then get him one of them thick chain bracelets, there goin for a good price in warren james. since your from the uk you`ll hopefully know that thats a jewelers. other than that i cant really think of anything else.

hope this helps x
