bonym agony auntFrom reading your post, it may still be possible that you are pregnant because some pregnancy kits are not that great in terms of accuracy however the best thing to do is go to the GP for a blood test and see what could be wrong. As fo the late periods, that may not necessarily be due to pregancy, sometimes periods are irregular for a whole army of reasons, but the doctor should be able to confirm your worries. If you are getting discharge that is white that is normal, as long as it is not itchy and it doesnt smell like yeast thats pretty normal, sometimes you may produce more during certain times in your cycle. But as others have siad, go to the GP to be 100% sure. Best of luck. xXx

willywombat agony auntGo to your GP. Without a physical examination and a diagnosis you are only going to worry more about it.

First, an over the counter pregnancy test is *very* accurate - they are so reliable that if you go to the doctor, he will probably advice you use one anyway.

A pregnancy test is supposed to be accurate from the day you miss your period. It's recommended though that you allow 7 days to pass to give a reliable result.

My honest words to you are that very few conceptions result in a successful pregnancy. If you have had unprotected sex and are three weeks late, you've taken a test that is negative and you have signifigant discharge then I would *suggest* that you are not pregnant.

In three weeks, if you were pregnancy your blood would be full of a hormone that would make a pregnancy test show positive.

Additionally, the stress you are going through is no doubt causing havok on your body, this could be a reason for you still discharging.

Get yourself to a doctor straight away and I'm sure they will tell you that you are not pregnant.

willywombat agony auntUnfortunately a lot of over the counter pregnancy tests are just not that sensitive. Also not every woman gets sore breasts when first pregnant. As said below the GP is your first port of call for this one.

If you're concerned about your health, your best bet would be to go to the doctor and share your concerns. Many times I have been very late or very early with my period, simply because of an imbalance of my hormones. I had to be put on birth control, so now, not only do I not have to worry about my periods, but I don't have to worry as much about getting pregnant. Ask about being put on the pill when you go to the doctor. I was a virgin when I got put on birth control, but it was still a good idea. Good luck to you!
