A female reader, chachacha United Kingdom +, writes (17 April 2006):

It's only a problem if you feel un-satisfied when you finish with your love-making. If you enjoyed it and feel good, then it's fine.

But if you somehow feel a bit frustrated, then it is a problem that you should do some work on.

If the latter, you need to do two things: (i) figure out how to have an orgasm yourself through masterbation (ii) figure out what you need to add to your love-making with your partner to give you the most satisfying experience.

Have fun!

Hey don't worry you are normal. Not many women are lucky enough to orgasim during sex. A lot of women go through life without ever having an orgasm. Some women find the only way the achieve orgasim is through mastrubation or through direct stimulation to the clitoris. Women are different to men they need a lot of stimulation to reach orgasm. Don't be embarressed to ask you boyfriend for lots of forplay, and if you need to try a vibrator. If you still can't orgasm don't worry your not the only one, just enjoy being with someone you love and try not to think about it and maybe one day you'll get a suprise

A female reader, anonymous, writes (17 April 2006):

Believe it or not, some women can enjoy sex and never know what an orgasm is. I did, for about 15 years. When I did discover how to have an orgasm, it rarely coincided with my partners. Sometimes it was more of a hassle as if I came I quickly lost interest in sex. Apparrently, about a thired of women never have an orgasm, or don't know how to initiate one. My first relationship was spoilt by his focus on me not having one, which made me feel unhappy. With hindsight, the problem was his/our lack of experience and his focusing on his need to 'come' rather than taking time to pleasure me. Hope this gives you some insight and is helpful to you.
