writes:There's this shy guy who I like an I know that at least at one time he's liked me.......Over the past few months there have been signals to show that he likes me e.g. He would always be where I hang out lunch times. This would happen some days and others it was nearlly like he was ignoring me : ( Also her friends said ‘that’s and then my name’ when I was playing in a concert and he came over to get a chair that was next to me. Sometimes he looks at me but some times it’s like he’s ignoring me. I gave him a Christmas card yesterday. My friends said that when I walked into the room that he kinda glanced at me but then when he came in another time he didn’t look at me. He was standing with some friends by the door to the room I needed to go to…..as I walked past I thaught that one of them said something to make fun of me but I’m not sure……When my friends went to her locker I started walking towards the door again and as soon as I looked at him he looked away……On the way out of school I was walking with some friends and his friends started calling his name and saying things like……she ‘s going wait and stuff like that. So I turned round to look and he was just standing there looking in my direction and then I went……..I am soooooo confused………I did ask him out once before just before some important exams and he said maybe....2 days later he said....It's too close to the exams but maybe after them ...Thanx for askingMy friends have heard his friends say my name like tiwce in convo.....they don't normally shout things at me ......When I told my female friend she taught they were taking the mickey.....but then when I told my male friend he said that he'll probably ask me out soon.....He takes his work really seriously but hangs out with ' chavs' or 'gangsters' ( u no the type I mean They not like proper ones thoughAlso do you think that maybe his friends are making fun of me?? You know how guys are ....Like 2 years ago one of his friends who didn't know me at all called my name as they walked past me and my friend. Apart from that no other shouting stuff has happened....We're both 16. I don’t think he has ever had a girlfriend before.

Dont be hasty and come to a conclusion. They probably are not making fun of you. And chances are if they are talking about you, its because this guy likes you and hes a bit shy about it. Dont be afraid to take a step in and not directly ask him out but make some conversation, be self confident not self concious. If you are keep your best friend near it will give you the boost of confidence you need.

 ummm...Guys are dumb lol. 16 years old guys are dumb. Sometimes a guy likes you but if his "home boys" or whatever don't approve they won't talk to you even though they might be really interested in you. Or they might like you but don't want to come off stupid. I doubt they are making fun of you and even if they were then they really don't mean it, and why should you care. I've had guys like me and never talk to me in class but outside of class talk to me alot.
