writes: Hi Am a 17 years old will be 18 soon and I've been in love with this guy for 6 years , ever since I was 11 he and his family are family friends and because of that I never had the guts to tell him my true feelings , am a shy and a coy person now I found his engagement pics on facebook just a week ago and I don't know what to do , just move on and forget him ( even though I tried and it never works I even tried dating but he's always in my mind ) or tell him ( which I dunno how will he react to it and how will his family think of me anymore and besides I would never want to do this to another girl , his fiancee is 19 almost 20 ) but I'm sure in both cases , no-one will ever ever ever love him the way I do and I'll never love someone the way I love him even if we're both married I'll always love him !! Plz some consoling words :'( because it's killing me btw I know it's somehow my fault because I never told him but I couldn't

 I was in the same position many years ago. I loved a guy for twenty years but never got around to telling him. I eventually mustered up enough courage to tell him and called him up. He lived abroad. When I told him how I felt about him, he told me that he was getting married on that very day!! He said that things could have been different if I'd told him earlier but it was too late. I think you should tell him, no matter what happens. It's better than spending your life thinking 'what if..'.
