Playful flirting goes on..,keep in mind this is via facebook chat, and then he asks if my number was still the same, and then i said "yes it is,but i don't need a rival's anyway" (inside joke) because i don't have his.So then he says "oooyou just have to makeout with one huhlol"then it hits me, did i happen to kiss him 2 weeks ago?! so i try and act clueless by saying "what?lol no making out for me"then he says: "awww, was i that bad"Then I froze! and it hit me! had i kissed him in a club 2 weeks ago,and i totally do not remember because yes i had a bit to drink (don't judge me)So i signed out quickly without responding, because if i tell him that i dont know what hes talking about,ill look bad that i dont remember kissing or making out with him! so...my question is,should i just play along and act like i remember what happened? cause i dont want to give him the wrong impression,he could be a potential something!  Tell the truth. It's way better than getting caught in a lie. If you don't remember, then don't claim to, he could be lying too.

reader, anonymous, writes (27 April 2011): Personally I think the best way to deal with it would be to tell him you don't remember because you had a bit to drink. Just be glad it was your friend and not a stranger, hey no one can judge you for having a drink and forgetting kissing someone. Everyone will drink at some point and probably do something like that but there's might be worse. Just explain to him that you had a bit too much to drink and you completely forgot about it. Make it a joke, he won't mind that you've forgotten if you explain properly.
Don't panic about it. Just talk to him.
