A male United Kingdom age 30-35, anonymous writes:

My first girlfriend left me earlier this year. Yesterday was 7 months since she left, and I can honestly say, I'm not really feeling better about our relationship ending. She ended things to pursue her education after being with me for 2 1/2 years. It's fair enough she wanted to continue her studies, but I still can't believe she put things to an end. I don't really know what I want now. I really miss her, and miss having a girlfriend. It doesn't feel like I'm going to have another girl to cherish for a long time yet. Can you help?

Emajayne agony auntI am 16 years old, my boyfriend dumped me in class in September, i know how this feels. We went out for 1 year, 8 months and 2 days. We are really good friends now. Tell me, did u end on an argument? Or was it an understanding breakup without any form of tears? You have to realize you are very very young and life goes on. I love school and unfortunately, boys come and go but school now is the key to the future. I can see why she broke up with u for that. You have to realize distance relationships are very hard. There will be other girls, you sound like a nice guy and probably look the part as well. If you miss her, jsut try and get back in touch with her first, maybe she has changed so much that you wont want anything to do with her.
