A male United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

Would you consider her a slut?

She has slept with 6 different guys Not including me..So Thats 7... Fron the age of 15- to almost 18 in a few months.

One was a serious relationship but cheated on him with two different people includding a singer because she said her friend was pressuring her that it would be a once in a lifetime thing.

One was because the guy kept bugging her and she went along with it but she sais she stopped a minute in so I dont know if it counts.

One was because she was staying at a guys house because she got kicked out of her own so she basically gave him rent that way I guess (Says she kinda liked him)

And the other is my best friend but she cheated on him for me.

Would you consider this girl to be slutty?

She is the first girl I have slept with and her past really bothers me.

I do love her but it hurts me everyday to think about her previous encounters..

Hoping to get some help.

She said she cheated on her first bf because she thought he was cheating on her.

The one where she cheated on my bestfriend with me she said she liked me but didnt think she could have me because she thought I was trying to get with someone else and felt embarassed to make a move on me.

Yes. That is slutty of her.

But it doesn't matter if it is sluttly of her, all that really matters is how you feel about it.

HonningKanin agony auntIts not sexist at all. If anything you are using a sexist word itself to discribe a sexually promiscuous female. If you gender reverse the role you would not call a man a slut you would just not agree and men dont normally get half this much scrutiny for the sexual conquests. Honestly I just see humans as humans. Sex is a part of human nature and some people have sex earlier than others, more than others and I dont see why any one person should hold moral high ground just because they haven't had half as much experience.

If I met someone and their sexual behaviour doesn't suit me, I dont judge them or deem them sluts I simply just don't choose them as a partner. Its their choice and it does make up who the person is, both in character and experience in bed. If you have an issue with it her sexual past, you can't simply white wash it as slutty just because you dont have a similiar past. If you are going to hold this over her head, like I said this will just end the relationship anyways. If you can't get over this, both you and she will have arguements about it, you will eventually find it hard to get intimate with her and that will be the end of that. You will always blame it on her past while you should have been consentrating on the now. There is nothing she can do about her past and the present is what matters.

Forget about the number of guys total for a minute. Just look at the circumstances of each time.

Yes, some of them do sound pretty slutty to me.

HonningKanin agony auntNo I wouldn't consider her a slut at all. Just like the post before, that is her past and her past is what makes her who she is today.

Presumably you like who she is otherwise you wouldn't be interested in her.

Either you accept who she is or move on as suggested. She cant change her past and to brood over it will do nothing but end this relationship anyways and leave you with a bitter taste in your mouth.

I think you are insecure with not having as much experience as her. She has been honest with you so I think that should count for something. But I would ask you, if a man told you about his conquests, would you consider him a slut? Somehow I dont think you would.

You tell me. When people usually do stuff like that it's called prostitution. Are you telling me she had no friends, whose place she could stay at without f***ing them? She said she only kinda liked, that's not defiative.

A male reader, CaringGuy United Kingdom +, writes (2 October 2009):

She's not slutty. She is who she is. All right, she's slept with 7 guys. So what? If you love her, then you have to accept her past. If you can't accept her past, move on.
