Just wait till you are together and lying down and start doing it. You might be in socks to start with but if your relationship goes further I am sure those socks will come off and you'll plenty of chance to just try it.
I think some girls will like it and some won't, but you will just have to try it and see how she reacts.
I wouldn't come out and ask or it might look like a strange fetish and make her nervous. If you just snuggle up and play footsie then she won't even notice.
