Won't be seeing him for six months!! What can I do to let him know I'm still into a relationship?

I met a guy I love over Christmas (I've known him for about four years now) and we really hit it off, flirting wise. I have so much fun when I'm with him and the time flies by so fast. The only problem is that I live in a city that's several states away from where he lives and I won't be coming home for at least six months. What can I do to let him know I'm still interested for a relationship and to keep in touch with him. As many answers as possible would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!
