I'm 16 and just started dating my first boyfriend. I'm comfortable around him and we seem to get along great BUT he says i'm really quiet... specially around him. We've been dating for 2 weeks now, going on 3, and I think this could cause a problem. I'm a shy person but i don't think i'm shy around hin. I can be loud, and have been around him. I just don't understand why he is saying this.(Its really bothering me) He says i talk a lot on FB and text messages but not in person. Sometimes I am quiet around him but that's because I don't have anything to say or I feel awkward (considering the fact that he's my first bf and i don't really know how to act)

Do you guys think this is just a phase? Will this 'shyness' go away? Its making me not want to talk to him.
