That out of the way, even if he is bigger than average, then a lot of foreplay is required. Lubricant is always a help, but 'most' women, if sufficently turned on will have enough of their own to enjoy sex.
p.s. if he really is 'big', then don't ever try anal, that won't work.

you havent tried to have sex with him yet to know if it will hurt. if it does hurt then simply ask him to take it slow to start with until you have stretched a little.
you will stretch in time but the vagina is a very stretchy thing anyway.
you will find certain positions a little more uncomfortable than others because he will obviously get even deeper but you never know, this may not be a problem.
you just need to make sure you are comfortable, turned on and relaxed because otherwise you will be tight and wont stretch.

Sizes usually do not matter. If a woman can deliver an 8ib baby or more through the vagina, you surely can adjust this large penis. Just make sure you are well lubricated before penetration. Good luck!
