I was so optimistic and always wanted to do the right thing. Until I got shit on for being too good and nice and naive. In reality, love is not all it is cracked up to be. I was so disillusioned. I probably still am. But the only thing I learned about love is that you have to be a tough bitch. Men have no mercy. Do the right thing?? It is a dog eat dog world out there. Sometimes the "right thing" is not even what you think it is. When you are too nice you become easy prey to all the predatorial fiends out there who have no mercy. Maybe you will figure this out on your own someday. But in the meantime, just be picky and put yourself, and your needs and interests FIRST. I am not saying you should be a bitch to guys. Not at all. I mean if you are, then you will never have a bf. You have got to be sweet to them. But don't let them walk all over you. Put your foot down and learn to get what you want.

 Personally i think this is a good attitude to have as you are not just going out with people for the sake of it. To wait till you meet someone who you love with all your heart, and who loves you back the same is good. You are still only young, don't be into much of a rush to meet someone, go out with your mates, have fun and enjoy the joys of what being 16 brings. The likellhood is that you will meet the boy/man of your dreams when you very least expect it.
