my boyfriend of a year and I have been arguing recently about money etc. the other night after he had been drinking and we had argued he asked me what i thought about us two braking up as we argue alot and it would save the hearbreak in the long run. i said i didnt want to and he said thats ok and we'd carry on and try not to argue. we have been ok since, but its playing on my mind now.why would he have said that, he must have meant it if he actually said it? everytime i ask him if we're ok he tells me yes and to chill out more.

He is sitting on the fence right now. He is ok either way, for now. If your relationship doesn't improve he will probably break up with you at some point.
