Why would a married guy say everything is very good with family and yet flirts and hits on you?

If he's married and says he's good with family, and then starts talking softly and says that it's nice to hear from you, he wants to be more in contact with you. I mean I can believe that in a ladies man, but in a guy who people say he's not like that.

Well, at least this guy especially if he's long distance. We contact because of a business deal. I asked him how's his family so to him to get I know he's married and I respect that and he says they're very good like in a convicing way. Ok I think, and then he starts doing that.

I mean what´s going on? I don´t want to be rude but...?
