How did the woman know that he was horny?? Did he tell her? Or did she just notice that he was "hard"?
Just because a guy has a hard-on, it doesn't necessarily mean that he's "horny" as well.. But yeh, more detail would be great, right now I'm just firing blind.

In the instance that he was "really horny" and he turned you down, maybe it was because he doesn't want to lead you on. That's the only thing I can think of why a man would turn down a woman. You know, he doesn't want you getting the wrong idea about how he feels, he probably isn't too interested in having something with you.
But I guess it could be something else, not sure...
