writes:Hi,Im 13 yrs old i love by Boyfriend we've been going out for 2 months but we dont hold hands and i c all these happy couples around me holding hands then i look at us and we r like a billion miles away frm each other.this bothers me. what bothers me more is that i wanted to hold his hand so i asked him for his hand in passing periods held it going to 8th . he was so freakin tense and quite this was like 2 weeks ago and ive taken his hand like 2 other times since and i feel like he should try to hold my hand too but he wont :/ why wont he hold my hand?!?!?!

My friend has a problem with her hands where he sweats a lot and it makes him really scared that he will freak a girl out with his sweaty hands - your bf may have the same problem and might not feel comfortable talking to you about it because of your age. Even at 18, he still doesn't feel okay telling his long-time girlfriend. I only know because we've been friends for... 7 years.
He may also just not feel comfortable holding hands - some guys have PDA (public displays of affection) problems. Try when you're alone sum where and walking or standing putting your arm around him. That's what my friend does so that he can be close to a girl but not freak her out. :)

 He could be shy or is not used to it. You will need to initiate holding his hands until he feels comfortable enough or from much practice.
Perhaps, you need to ask him that question and see what he has to say.
