writes:I have been dating this guy for almost 4 months now... we have liked eachother since i was twelve... he was 4 years older than me so we never persued it. Im 20 now, so we made it official. we expressed that we love eachother and he told me what was bothering him. He was always the one who calls me, and he now wants more calls from me. we had this disscusion last week. So i call him everyday since then, he talks to me for a minute, then says he will call me back, but he never calls!!! So i deleted his number last night.. im not calling him anymore, and he hasnt called today, and i know he wont. Whats his issue? I cant figure it out... he says he's very busy, but i can tell he's doin it intentionally... Why? Reply to this Question

 You need to ask him what is going on with him - why he expects you to phone him and also expects you to wait by the phone for him to return your calls.

For some reason guys don't think of it as a big deal to call on time, even if they say they will. The usually just think that "Oh well, I'm seeing her later anyways". They don't understand that it can come off as dismissive and rejecting.
Just tell him that it's pretty rude when he has you sitting by your phone guessing when he might decide to give you a ring. If he doesn't get it when it's laid out that bluntly, then maybe find a new guys' number and call it instead ;)
