 The penis should deposit the sperm close enough to the cervix that enough will stay in. But yes, the ejaculation does leak out after a while.
There is theory that missionary position is great for conceiving because the vagina forms a natural "cup" for the ejaculation/ sperm to sit in, allowing it more time to fertilize an egg.
Just stay laying on your back with your legs/ hips slightly elevated. But as Kelly said, is you still don't become pregnant in a year, go see a doctor to make sure there aren't other fertility problems.

 To increase chances of pregnancy sit with your legs against a wall. Lie on your back opposite a wall and then put your legs up against it. If you don't fall pregnant within a year then go and see a doctor.x
