Why does sex with my well-endowed boyfriend suddenly hurt?

Question - (20 February 2011) 1 Answers - (Newest, 20 February 2011)
A female United States age 30-35, anonymous writes:

I've been with my guy for a while and suddenly, it's like his penis is too big for me and it hurts for him to thrust like ususal.

It's not that I'm "sore" from too much action (ladies, you know what I mean). Furthermore, even if I were just "sore," that always goes away within a day or two, and yet this has been an issue for the last week, with 5 attempts!

my guy is 7.75". That said, while I know most don't like the whole "jackhammering" thing, I love it, and so does he, despite his size. But now, we just can't do it anymore! Sex whatsoever hurts, unless I'm on top deciding how deep he goes.

What gives?

A female reader, chigirl Norway +, writes (20 February 2011):

chigirl agony auntMy best guess is something that happened to me years ago. It was with a guy who was average, so penis size doesn't matter in this. Anyway, what happened (I guess) is I got a rift or a scratch somehow, either from too rough sex one day, or something just getting in the way that shouldn't have been there. Anyway, after months and months of pain-free sex it suddenly just hurt one day. And it didn't go away even if we waited a few days. My guess again, as I didn't see a gynecologist about it, is that I got hurt somehow, and that each time we had sex it just made the wound open up again and not heal. I talked to a friend of mien about it and that was her guess too. It could be something as little as hair-leftovers from a shave or something that got in the way and was scratching.

Anyway I decided to wait for two weeks. And after two weeks it was all fine again.

Did you have your period recently and used tampons? Sometimes there can be piece of the string left around the opening. You could ask your boyfriend to have a look at you down there, or check yourself out in the mirror, to see if you can see anything.

If it doesn't go away you should contact your doctor or see a gynecologist. You could also have symptoms of an STD or another disease that cause irritation down there.
