It's called human nature.
Is it something that God / The Devil put in us?
Or is it a tribal survival mechanism that it's a lot easier to go in, punch someone and take the food source they have, rather than going out and finding one of your own?
Massacres still happen over land and water sources. Do you really think we'd be fighting in the middle east if it wasn't for all the oil and gas that is now going to flow out?
Look at Israel and Palestine! They are at war over a godforsaken strip of desert that some biblical / Koranic events took place on.

 people get jealous of other people because they think that the other person has something that they dont. say like if you like a guy and starts flirting with someone else right infront of you and you just sit there like a good friend. but when youre by yourself you just want to cry. because you have a feeling that youre not as good enough as the other person is.
