reader, anonymous, writes (8 June 2009): it is the media that play most of the part in making us horny, and that because the unconsious part of our brain gets activated when we see sex pictures ect...the best thing to do is to control your unconscious and that by not watching sex or sex related. also watch your thought as much as you could..

Your only 13 so sex is illegal but it doesn't mean you can't think about it, curiosity is normal.
Don't be afraid to talk to people about it, like your mum or friends or someone. Maybe you can have a giggle abut it and make it seem more light hearted? Laughing usually makes people stop feeling worried, at least for a little while. You could always look online for help and advice, like an NHS site or something.

It's your hormones and it's just how we humans develop. The real deep reasons are to do with evolution. It's very natural to feel that way, because way back before we were civilised, the best way to pass on your genes was to have loads of babies, pretty young and hope that a few made it. Obviously things are very different now, but we haven't escaped our roots.I'm not a girl, so I can't say for sure, but the warm feeling could just be because the muscles around there are getting read for some action - a penis, that is. There will also be more blood than usual rushing to those muscles.The good news is, as you get older, you grow out of getting turned on by accident, it's something you can save for more appropriate times. You're probably at your peak when it comes to unwanted sexual feelings and over the next few years it will calm down.Since you're 13, you shouldn't have sex, but it's completely natural (and very common, even if people don't admit to it) to masturbate satisfy these desires. Just make sure you're private about it, it'll be very awkward if someone walks in on you.

 Hey 13 yr old chick, You are 13 and are probably going through puberty at this time. Not sure if your mom sat down with you and shared what happens when puberty shows up but I am assuming that you do have your period already. You are confusing me though, how can you know what horny is when you are not too sure what the warm sensation in your vagina is? But anyway, sexual thoughts arouse you so that warm sensation is the reaction to the arousal....you may also get wet...in preparation for the sex that you should not be having at your age.You are thinking about sex and that is normal for a girl your age who is dealing with puberty....try and focus on other things, like hanging out with friends. What you can also do is read up some stuff on the internet about how to deal with your feelings. Chat to your mom as well and share your feelings with her.But please...don't go having random sex at the tender age of 13 due to a feeling that you clearly don't understand yet.
