What does it mean when a guy asks you to be his girlfriend after the first date?

This has happened to me 4 times now and I wanted to know whether I actually impressed these guys that much for them to want me to be their girlfriend. Or if it was just a way to get me into bed quicker!

If that's your photo,i wouldn't be surprised why guys ask you out so fast.Maybe i would myself! Your conscious is right. They are so attracted to you that they can't wait to bed and i guess the only way they know how is to ask you to be their gf.The more sexually attractive you are as a woman, the more careful you need to be with men who approach you coz you never know whether they like you for you or your body!

Take care.

Laura1318 agony auntThose guys want to keep the chase short. They don't like to be kept in limbo , neither here or there.

If you are not interested , they will move on to their next target.

Once you agree, it means they can bed you.

A female reader, anonymous, writes (14 February 2008):

It probably just means exactly what they said, that he wants you to be his girlfriend. Guys are pretty straightforward. It just means that he likes you and he is sure that he would like to be exclusive or make it official. That's all. If one of these kids interests you then go for it. But if for some reason you didn't feel a connection or you think they might have ulterior motives then stay away from them.

I'll be honest though, I see what you are saying. I mean I have become a guys girlfriend "at heart" within the first week just because we clicked so incredibly well and fell "inlove" instantly. But even though we met and became instantly inseperable, we didn't bring up the whole boiyfriend/girlfriend conversation till about two weeks later. But like I said, if you have doubts or don't feel the same way then just stay away from them.

dearkelja agony auntWell, do you sleep with these guys when they ask you to be their girlfriend? How long do they stay after you've slept with them? Do they know each other? Could they be talking? Not really sure what the cycle of the relationship is, that could tell us more.
