My current girlfriend says giving oral is her very favourite thing. When I asked why she said it's because she likes being in control, and I guess it's because she likes giving pleasure. In truth I don't find blow-jobs that pleasurable, I'd much rather be taking a more active role and giving oral rather than receiving.

Some girls do not like it as some men dislike oral sex on girls. It is what you are somfortable with.

 I agree with most of the response's below. I think it's both. I do it because I know he loves it and also because I enjoy it for the fact that it gives him great pleasure and it turns me on like crazy. However; I do know of girls that dislike doing it, but do it for their husbands/boyfriends. So it depends on the girl you are with.

 I bet I know what you're thinking - WHY would anyone want to put that thing in their mouth????? Why would you want to do that????? Yes, me too, when I was your age I wondered just the same thing. Some people genuinely enjoy giving oral sex, but it really depends on how loving and worthy the receiver is, not to mention levels of hygiene and diet (some foods can turn a man's sperm really bitter, for instance hot curry!)
But most girls I've talked about this with just feel it's something they have to do. It could be down to the fact that most women need a lot of foreplay, so we assume men need some too!
