thinking back to when i had my first proper boyfriend i was around your age and from what i remember, guys that age don;t always no how to be gentle. They think that ramming fingers in to you is the way to turn you on. It was probably your hymen breaking, but he may have been abit too rough. You also need to communicate with him about what feels nice and what hurts. If it hurts tell him to stop. Maybe even guide his hand with yours and show him the pressure that you like and how you like him to touch you. A little education for him won;t hurt his feelings, he needs to know how to make you feel nice without hurting you. I guess hymen was my initial thought, but what confused me was the gap of 1 1/2-2 days between the act itself and the first time I saw blood.
Is it possibly for the blood to somehow hold off for that long, and not bleed immediately? I don't really mind if it was, I think I'm more curious than anything now!

I'm guessing he tore your hymen. Don't worry -- you're still a virgin if that's your next question. His penis has to penetrate you before you lose your virginity. Had it been his fingernail or something, there would have been about 10 minutes worth of spotting.
