writes:Hi. I am seventeen and a senior in high school. I have a little bit of a problem. I'm only attracted to older men. My friends try to set me up with people in my grade, but I always say no. They ask me why not and I have to lie to them, because I'm afraid to tell them that I just don't like guys my age! I see older men out and about and I want to be with them, not teenage boys! What's wrong with me? Why am I attracted to older men?

And your looking for a guy who is fully mature. It might grow out as you get older. But even if you don't, it doesn't matter. Like everyone else said. Its perfectly normal and some people are just like that.

 First responder "Flynn 24" has it just about right. Many young women are more attracted to a more masculine male, fully grown and more experienced. It's in the woman's psyche, genetics and hormones. Perfectly normal. In fact, more normal. No need to lie to your friends, just tell them that you prefer more mature men.

 Nothing wrong with that at all! Why do you think everyone likes Johnny Depp? I wasn't attracted to people my own age until college. Even now I still find older men more attractive sometimes...

Your body wants you to be with someone who will more likely be able to provide for any progeny.
And older man are genereally able to do that better than a teenager.
Its also why older men are attracted to younger women. They can find the respect and feel desred in ways that older women can;t give them.
Younger men tend to like older women as well. Older but still hot. Because their sexual appetites are in sync with the younger males. Older women can teach a younger male things that a younger woman cannot.
In the end though. It all comes down to love. You cannot choose who you fall in love with. You might one day find a young man of similar age as you that makes you feel the same way. Or you may not.
Just don't do anything you might later regret.
