Anyway, as regards whether I have a sense of humour I can categorically say that I have none whatsoever, suffice to say that if she's into bald men then in another year or so she's bound to develop the hots for me! ;o)I think feeling comfortable around a guy is important, so perhaps that's where guy no.1 is scoring more points than me at the moment i.e. I tend to be continually in the process of breaking the ice. Once the ice is broken then I think I stand a real chance. Until then guy no.1 is probably ahead on points...Thanks again for your help - which I found very encouraging!

Let me guess, you were guy number two and the girl picked guy number 1?
Here are a few reasons a girl might pick guy number 1:
1) he is attractive to her-more so than guy number 1
2) she wants the financial security
3) she has low self esteem and doesn't want a guy who thinks she's great
4) the sense of humor won her over (you didn't mention guy number 2 had one
5) guy number 1 makes her feel more comfortable and she is happier around him
6) she has a thing for bald men
