Just go to your doctor, I was really scared when I first wanted to take it just cos it's embarrassing asking a doctor for it but i did and all he did was take my blood pressure, asked if I knew of any thrombosis in my family and just tell me about a couple of minor side effects that if I got I would simply have to go back and change to a different type of pill. And it's the best thing I've ever done... sex is amazing ;)

go to the family planning clinic in your area and go into either a drop in session with one of your friends or make an appointment and tell them you have come to get the pill. they will as you some questions. personal questions but dont worry everything is confidential and they will find out the best pill for your body and give it to you.

but make sure you take it at the SAME time evryday or when asked to other wise you will be plopping out a baby in 9 months. i hope your mature enough for sedx and if he has had sex before i would reccommen he get checked out for STD's

celtic_tiger agony auntDear Poster

If you are the age that your post states 13-15 yrs old, may I remind you that the LEGAL age of consent in the UK is 16.

This means that you are a minor, and even if you say yes to having sex with your boyfriend, he CAN be charged with RAPE. Also he could be charged with CHILD ABUSE, because you are actually still a child in the eyes of the law.

Also, HOW DO YOU KNOW HE IS ALLERGIC TO LATEX? Sadly a lot of boys use this excuse so as not to have to wear condoms. Has he been sexually active before? Has he had to be rushed to hospital because his willy swelled up due to the allergic reaction? If the answer is NO, then I think he is probably fibbing to you and just trying to get into your pants without a condom by using a sob story so you will feel sorry for him.

There are many different makes of condoms available for people with latex allergies. Do a google search for non-latex condoms - you will see that he is just spinning you a line - IT IS NO EXCUSE FOR NOT WEARING A CONDOM!!!!

Do you want this? As you do not know where to get the pill from, then I agree with the poster below, you are not ready to take the next step with this relationship.

If you do not know where to get the pill, do you know the side effects it can have? Its not like taking a couple of paracetamol for a headache - the contraceptive pill affects your hormones, and has very significants effects on your body. Some pills are great, others have horrific side effects. It all depends on the person - some pills work for some women, but do not work for others. It may take a couple of tries to find the right pill for YOU. If you are unlucky side effects of the pill include weight gain, massive mood swings, depression, crying for no reason, anger, facial hair growth, bleeding when not on a period and generally feeling total crap - Are you prepared for this? Would your boyfriend be prepared to wait while you and the doctor found a contraceptive pill that was suitable for you?

If you take the pill, can you trust yourself to take it at the same time every single day - regardless of what you are doing? It only takes one missed pill and you are pregnant. Easy as that.

Do you know where to get the morning after pill if something goes wrong?

Even if you are on the pill you can still catch STD's if he isnt wearing a condom. Do you know about all the horrible infections that can make you infertile, cause you great pain, or maybe even kill you?

Chlamidia, Herpes, AIDS to mention a few... unless you wear a condom, you could get any of these.

Also - the pill is not 100% effective even if you follow the instructions to the letter. It is always better to have TWO methods of contraception.

If he loves you then he will be happy to wait until you are 16. Love and relationships are not based on lust. Tell him to keep it in his pants until you are old enough to understand HOW the process works, and also the implications that sex brings to your life.

I suggest you do a lot more reading up about the facts of sex, contraception and sexually transmitted diseases before you even consider letting him near you without a condom.

If you dont know all the facts, dont do it.

If you must come to a relationship site in order to get this information, then you are not ready or mature enough for sex. I don't kow how many people here will encourage you in this.
