reader, anonymous, writes (29 December 2008): You need to get an answer from her and explain the reason is not jealousy but fear for her safety. She's been threatened enough times - all you need is to mess with the wrong person just once and she could be in hospital. It is a pretty weird fetish.

If this was a man taking pictures of women's legs then the police would have been called by now.
I agree with you that this is a serious problem, and you need to get it across that it's not acceptable behaviour. Especially as she is risking your personal safety! That shows so little respect it's unbelievable.
I think you just have to do something to show her you refuse to be with her when she does this.
When she does this and doesn't listen when you ask her to stop then just walk out. Go home or go somewhere else. I think you have to do something a little bit drastic to let her know she is going to lose you if she keeps going, and that's if you don't get stabbed first.

 I think she needs to realise how bizarre it is to take pictures of mens legs in the first place before she's going to understand the problems it causes
