 I agree with Ask_oldersister. It's his actions that count.
I have a hunch that someone apologized to you for something he did, and you are yet to see whether his words will match his actions. Be patient and wait; the ball is in his court.
It's true that bad guys sometimes do apologize, but they don't mean it. However, there are also some guys who just won't apologize. He is certainly not one of these non-apologizers.

 It just means his sorry for whatever he did, he may care about you.But it isnt nessacarily linked to the "sorry"

 It either means he's actually sorry, or he's just trying to get back in your good books. Depends if he's a genuine kind of person, depends on what he is apologising for, it depends on the circumstances with this guy?
