If a girl asks it's because she wants to know so she won't be wasting her time or hurt feelings on someone that just considers it all a game or joke. If you're afraid that they won't let you in their pants if you say yes, then go find girls that don't care. There's plenty women out there that want to use you just as much as you want to use them.

If you are not a player then I suggest you answer them seriously and dont laugh at the question because that may be seen as being insenisitve to their feelings. and it will also make you look guilty of being a player!
So my advice would be, if you are not a player to respond by saying that of course you are not and then talk briefly about your values and morals in regards to relationships and women in general.
If you are a player, well in an ideal world you would admit to it!! But I doubt you would if you were one right?

 well best you can do is just tell them like it is.
if you perfer to just do a no strings attached thing tell them.
if you're someone who wants to commit to a relationship tell them
don't just straight up and say i'm a player.
just say i'm just having fun for the moment i'm not looking for a relationship
they'll get the message then.
