A female reader, anonymous, writes (9 January 2008):

So soory about your miscarriages. I had a miscarriage and got a D&C in April 2007 and decided to wait for three months. But after that I have been trying to get pregnant and no results. I went to a doctor who told me Ihad adhesions and need a lapora scope and D&C. Got two other opinions and was told there was nothing wrong with me and should just wait to concieve when my body is ready. What should I do?

leanne.od agony auntI wouldn't get your hopes up. i think that you're very unfortunate for having undergone 2 miscarriages, i have lost a baby myself, and i think it is safe to say that it is just your body changing, light, heavy, whatever your period, it might just be a reflection of how your lifestyle is at the moment, if you are stressed, the possibility is it will be light.

do a pregnancy test, just to get the thought out of your mind, and instead of trying for a baby, when you make love, think of it as that. if you get too emotionally hung up on conceiving, the pressure will add to the relationship. nature will take it's cause and sooner or later, things will happen of thier own accord.

best wishes.
